This is an image of the lunar Sinus Iridium imaged through an eight inch Meade LX200GPS with a StellaCam II. The resulting video file was stacked using Registax, and final processing was done in Adobe PhotoShop.
Sinus Iridium
This is a lunar mosaic shot on January 9, 2006. It is composed of 6 separate images shot with the 8 inch Meade LX200GPS with an f/6.3 focal reducer through a Hydrogen alpha filter using the StellaCam II. Similarly, all the images were individually stacked using Registax, processed in Adobe PhotoShop, and assembled with AutoStitch

M42 is too large for a single frame with an f/10 telescope and the StellaCam II. Building on the success I had with the lunar mosaic, this image of M42 and M43 is a mosaic of approximately 14 images all taken with an eight inch Meade LX200GPS, StellaCam II and then stacked with Registax, processed with Adobe PhotoShop, and merged with AutoStitch. The irregular stars reflected poor seeing and the rotational problems of merging images captured from an alt/az mount.
