Observatory
Dark Horse Observatory was built by Scott Horstman of Backyard Observatories. This was taken as they were pulling out from 4 days of work building my dream. The link to Backyard Observatories web site is:

Here I am in front of my newly completed Dark Horse Observatory on 14 June 2006.

A view from my back door of the observator duing the first snow of its first winter. Who thought about icicles when it was being built?
This is the Dark Horse Observatory after painting and adding flowers to the flower boxes. On the left is with the roof open.
This is the most recent physical enhancement, the new stone walkway - No more muddy shoes!
Even out here we have light pollution. This shadow comes from the neighbor's spotlight aimed right into my yard. Fortunately they shut it off shortly after this was taken.
This is a view of the M1 Control screen on my home office computer. I can control the power to all devices (the observatory computer boots on powerup) and can open and close the roof.
While turning on the system or imaging I can monitor the interior with webcams from both sides.
