This is a recent single frame shot of the moon on 06 August 2006 from the observatory using my ST-10XME and Takahashi BRC-250 through a Hydrogen-alpha filter for 0.1 seconds. There was some adjsutment of curves and levels in Adobe PhotoShop and some sharpening was appplied to enhance detail in CCDStack.

This is an image of C/2006 M4 (Comet Swan), taken on October 30, 2006 from my backyard observatory. This is a simple Median combine of (16) 15-second luminance exposures centered on the nucleus of the comet with simple levels and curves applied. While I wish that I had color imaging at the time, this simple image shows a lot of detail in the comet's tail.
